Blooms' First Wedding!

On October 3, 2015, Melissa and Greg were married
in Valley Forge, PA and Blooms with a View
was there to share the wonderful day!

The bride and groom chose a Fall theme with the
centerpieces and we incorporated gourds and dried wheat
to accomplish that.   The fact that the centerpieces were
not perishable made early preparation possible.

The room looked gorgeous and the caterer declared that the
centerpieces were simple and elegant.  Mission accomplished!

The inclement weather forced the ceremony indoors
so we created these four large arrangements with the look of
flowers just picked in the meadow to bring the outside in
and to dress up the ceremony venue.

The bride, Melissa, and here sister and maid of honor, Adina!

They both carried hand-tied bouquets including
yellow and white roses, Queen Anne's Lace,
yellow and white calla lilies, caspia limonium, hypericum,
snow on the mountain greens, dark purple lisianthus tied
with ribbons to compliment the flower and dress colors.

The Mother of the Bride, Sharon, (pictured here)
and Mother of the Groom wore white calla lily wrist corsages
on beaded bracelets with coordinating ribbon.

The groom wore a yellow calla lily boutonniere and the groomsmen
and the two fathers sported yellow calla lilies.

Grandmother of the groom wore a single white rose
on her wristlet bracelet.

It was a wonderful experience to create wedding flowers!
I may just expand Blooms to include Wedding Floral Design!
